CODE OF CONDUCT

We're excited to make music together and create a positive, inclusive environment for everyone. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, we ask that you adhere to the following code of conduct:

1. Respect Others: Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Listen actively and be considerate of differing opinions, backgrounds, and abilities.

2. Inclusive Language: Use inclusive and respectful language. Any form of discrimination is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.

3. Supportive Environment: Foster a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels encouraged to participate and express themselves creatively.

4. Safety First: Prioritize safety at all times. Be mindful of your surroundings and report any concerns to the workshop organizers immediately.

5. Respect for Property: Take care of Workshop facilities and equipment. Use instruments and resources responsibly, ensuring they are returned in good condition.

6. Personal Boundaries: Respect personal boundaries. Always ask for consent before taking photos or videos, and be mindful of physical boundaries during interactions.

7. Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts peacefully and constructively. If you have an issue, speak directly to the GJW leadership team for assistance in finding a resolution.

8. Alcohol and Drugs: The Workshop premises are alcohol and drug-free. Please refrain from bringing or consuming these substances during Workshop hours.

9. Compliance with Rules: Follow all Workshop rules and guidelines provided by the faculty and leadership staff. These rules are in place to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

10. Have Fun: Lastly, enjoy yourself and have fun making music! Your positive attitude and enthusiasm contribute to a memorable experience for everyone.
